Chicago Fire Striker CJ Saprong and MMA Fighter Erick “Ghost Pepper” Gonzalez featured in The Lightning Cup Series Fortnite Tournament

Chicago Fire striker CJ Saprong and MMA fighter Erick “Ghost Pepper” Gonzalez are slated to be at this years Lightning Cup event at World CryptoCon hosted by Cornerstone Global Management, LLC and playDECENT.gg. The event is being held Monday, October 28th at the HyperX Arena at the Luxor. Doors open at 4:00pm PT and the competition goes from 6:00pm – 10:00pm. 

CJ has been in the MLS world since 2011 and has netted 62 goals in 257 appearances for club and country. Erick, an avid esports gamer and fan himself, boasts and impressive 10-4-0 record and is ranked 14/381 in the US Pro Lightweight Division. Erick is also a member of the Las Vegas Minigunners esports team! We’re excited to have them come play and watch Fortnite with us.

Also playing in the event is Oakland Raiders 2019 first-round draft pick Johnathan Abram and the Las Vegas Minigunners esports team. We’ll be making more participant announcements over the next week. Stay tuned.
